Before establishing Morcom Pernat, Norman was responsible for BHP’s worldwide patent activities, including major multinational interests in steel, minerals and petroleum.
Norman also spent seven years as a research engineer with CSIRO and at BHP’s Research Lab before moving into the field of IP.
Norman has a strong technical background and experience with a wide range of technologies, concentrating on the application of advanced engineering, instrumentation, petrochemicals, metallurgy, mining, and minerals processing.
